This exciting ED to RAN Transition Contract is designed to give you the opportunity to build the skills, confidence and experience needed to develop your career as a Remote Area Nurse!
You’ll work within a remote healthcare setting where you can expand your clinical scope, gain exposure to primary healthcare and learn what it truly means to work as a RAN. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in autonomous practice, remote assessment, emergency response and the unique challenges of delivering healthcare in remote communities.
A key part of the transition will be learning and developing your on-call skills, with support as you become more confident managing presentations outside of regular clinic hours. You’ll be surrounded by experienced clinicians who understand the transition into remote practice and can provide guidance, support and valuable on-the-ground learning.
